What is vocation training?
The non-professional stream of education that involves more of practical and manual tasks is generally referred to as vocational training. It facilitates the education of people and helps them practically work in their field of choice. The vocational oriented courses are generally offered at the secondary and senior secondary level. The institutes and the vocational training schools are generally funded by the government. Since times immemorial, the vocational training schools have been in the scenario but in the olden days, it was a lowly affair to be a part of any vocational course. Weaving, tailoring, carpentry, automotive training and computer education are the hot cakes in the arena of vocational education. There are different levels of vocational training like beginners, intermediate and advanced which enable a learner to even specialize in his sphere of work.

The vocational training schools are the non-profit institutions that are funded by either private companies or Government. The students who gain a degree from the vocational schools stand a better chance to get a good job as they have on-job experience and their interpersonal skills are much better than the one's who have all the theoretical knowledge. One should opt for a vocational training school if one wants to excel in a particular craft and do not wish to trod upon the conventional path of traditional learning. The vocational training schools charge the students a minimal amount and even for that offer blank service and loans. A vocational training school should be properly recognized and affiliated to some statutory body. The students getting a certificate or a degree from any vocational training schools fare better in the interviews and group discussions as they have better and in-depth knowledge about the same. It makes the individual more responsible and his commitment towards the task intensifies. Conclusion The vocational training schools offer much more than one can even imagine. Vocational training includes a number of topics and one has a wide variety of options to select from. Many international universities offer vocational training and one can surely benefit by taking it up. The course durations are different and one can select the training as per one's ability and requirement.
